Ritsa
For joineries and workshops in Västra Götaland
The right size on every order, before anything is cut. Ritsa reads your customers' emails, PDFs and drawings, turns them into orders and asks the customer when something is missing.
Try it for 4–6 weeks on your real orders. No cost and no commitment.
The visit is free and you're not committing to anything.
The problem
The money goes in the office and in delivery.
The order
“Send us a drawing and we'll work it out.” Someone in the office retypes emails and PDFs by hand. A 397 mm instead of 597 mm only shows when the door doesn't fit, and by then the order can't be undone.
The shop floor
Which part belongs to which order? What's next? The answer lives in one person's head or on a note that got lost in the dust.
Customer and quality
“Where is my order?” gets an answer after two weeks. Warped doors and paint faults are scrapped without anyone knowing why, so the same fault comes back.
How it works
From an email to an order that is right.
Customers email as they always have. Ritsa does what takes the office a quarter of an hour per order today and asks the customer when something is unclear.
- The customer sendsEmail, list, PDF, a photo of a drawing or a form on your site. The format doesn't matter.
- Ritsa readsThe text becomes order lines with sizes, quantities, colour and hardware. Each line shows where in the email it came from.
- Your rules checkMistakes are caught before the saw starts: 397 mm instead of 597, the carcass size instead of the door size, a missing hinge side.
- The customer answersWhat's missing becomes a question on the customer's order link. The answer lands right on the order.
- You approveNo order moves on until someone at your workshop has looked at it. Then it goes to planning.
Without and with Ritsa
The same order, two ways.
The times are estimates. In the pilot we measure yours.
Who it's for
Workshops of 3–30 people that make to order.
The first version is built for made-to-measure kitchen doors, where every millimetre counts. For other workshops we change the rules, the catalogue and the planner.
A planner for your customers
Customers see what they order before anything is made.
The planner is built for what you make, with your sizes and your rules. The customer picks sizes and materials and sees the result at once. Anything that can't be made is marked red and stopped before the order is sent.
What you get
Built around the way your workshop already works.
You pick the parts you need and pay only for those. What you already use stays.
Orders and checks
Emails, lists and PDFs become order lines. Your rules catch wrong sizes before anything is cut.
Order link for the customer
Customers see where their order is and answer questions through a link in the email. Fewer calls.
Planner for the customer
Customers draw it themselves and see the result. Mistakes are stopped before the order is sent.
All orders in one place
Customers, orders, sizes, comments and photos together. The data is yours and can be exported to Excel whenever you like.
Quality and scrap
Measure warp, take a photo and note the cause. You see where faults start.
Integrations
Web shop, machine software and accounting are connected, so nobody types the same thing twice.
The process
From the first visit to a system that is yours.
- VisitOne to two hours in the workshop. We look at how orders come in and where the time goes.
- ProposalWhich parts, a fixed price, A or B, and whether you can get the VGR voucher.
- Pilot4–6 weeks at no cost on real orders, with goals you set.
- ProjectYour rules, integrations and training.
- RunningWe run the system, or you take over everything.
Setup
One project. Then you own it or let us run it.
Pilot
4–6 weeks on real orders, with goals written down before we start. No commitment: if it doesn't fit, you pay nothing and we remove everything.
Project
Your rules and catalogue, the order link, integrations and training. You get a fixed price in the quote after the visit, with the numbers for the VGR voucher.
Then you choose
Let us run the system or take over everything yourselves. You can start with A and switch to B later.
A. We run it
For you if you'd rather not think about hosting, updates and security.
- EU hosting, backups and AI usage included
- Support in working hours and changes every month
- One month's notice. Your data goes with you.
B. Everything is yours
For you if you have your own IT contact or want to own everything from day one.
- Source code, software, hardware drawings and parts list, documentation
- Hosting runs on your own accounts and you pay the provider directly
- Changes at an hourly rate when you want them, or by your own developer
The project is already paid for, so you can have everything from code to hardware. The monthly fee in A pays for upkeep and changes.
Funding for automation
Region Västra Götaland can pay up to half.
of the consultant cost through the digitalisation voucher (digitaliseringscheck) from Region Västra Götaland, at most SEK 250,000. The project must be at least SEK 100,000. The voucher is meant for automating internal processes and making better use of data and AI.
We write the quote to fit the application and help with the paperwork. Don't start the work until the region has said yes.
Who can apply
- Small and medium-sized companies in Västra Götaland (up to 249 employees), priority for 10–49
- At least 2 full-year employees and SEK 3 million in turnover, annual reports for two years
- Apply any time via Tillväxtverket's “Min ansökan” (paused 15 Jun–15 Aug and 15 Dec–15 Jan)
Not covered
- Subscriptions, off-the-shelf software and licences
- Websites and web shops, training, marketing
That is why option B, a system of your own that becomes yours, fits the voucher especially well. Terms per vgregion.se, checked October 2026.
Add-on
Terminals on the shop floor.
Ritsa works in the browser in the office and on an ordinary tablet. If you want the orders at every workplace, you can get a protected terminal. It shows the orders as tiles and controls no machines.
Touch screen
Open, read, take, send back and comment right on the screen.
Touch screen and voice
The same screen and a big button: hold it and talk, and the comment is written for you.
Buttons
A screen without touch, with arrows, OK and two buttons. For heavy gloves, dust and paint.
| Version | Fits |
|---|---|
| Touch screen in a sealed housing | Packing, assembly, inspection |
| Touch screen and voice button | Where nobody wants to type |
| Screen and buttons | Heavy gloves, dust, paint |
| + Scanner for QR and barcodes | Parts and delivery notes |
| + Handheld mic | Voice notes at a distance |
| + Camera | Monitoring, checking work |
The workshop buys the hardware and it is always yours.
Questions
Common questions
What if Ritsa reads it wrong?
No order goes to the saw until someone at your workshop has approved it. Every line shows where in the email it came from, and anything unclear becomes a question to the customer.
How much of our time does it take?
A visit of one to two hours and about an hour a week during the pilot. We do the rest.
Do customers have to learn anything new?
No. They email as before and get a link where they can see their order.
Does it work with what we already have?
Yes. Excel, web shop, machine software and accounting can be connected, and what you have stays.
What if Ritsa stops existing?
With option B you have the code, the documentation and the hosting on your own accounts, so another developer can take over. With A you take all your data with you when you cancel.
Where do the customers' emails go?
The data is stored in your own database in the EU. Names, phone numbers and addresses are masked before the text is read by AI, and nothing is used to train AI models.
What does it cost?
It depends on which parts you need. After the visit you get a fixed price in the quote, with the numbers for the VGR voucher.
